Bharat Arun, jo pehle Indian cricket team ke bowling coach reh chuke hain, unhe Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) ne bulaya hai ek 14-day special training program ke liye jo 2nd June 2025 se start hoga. Ye program Sri Lanka ke junior aur senior fast bowlers ke liye hai aur High Performance Centre mein hoga. SLC ka yeh effort hai ki wo international level ke coaches ko bula ke apne players ke skill aur strategy dono ko upgrade karein.
Bharat Arun Ka Experience
Arun ne 2014 se 2021 tak India ke bowlers ko coach kiya, aur recently wo KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders) ke fast bowling coach the IPL 2025 mein. Unka contribution Indian pace attack ko world-class banane mein huge raha hai—jaise overseas Test series jeetne mein unka kaafi bada role tha.
Training Program Ka Scope
2nd June se 15th June tak chalne wale is program mein kaafi saare levels ke players aur coaches cover honge:
- Sri Lanka Men’s & Women’s Teams
- Women’s A Team
- Under-19 Men’s Team
- High Performance Centre ke coaches
- Club aur Provincial level ke coaches
- Coach educators
Focus Areas:
- Strategy Sessions: Alag-alag sessions honge red-ball aur white-ball formats ke liye. Game planning, tactics aur adaptability pe focus hoga.
- Technical Training: Bowling action, seam position, swing aur pace jaise aspects pe practical coaching di jayegi.
- Video Analysis: Players ke performances ka deep analysis hoga, jisse unhe feedback milega aur improve karne ka scope samajh aayega.
- Match Simulation Drills: Real-game jaise pressure situations create kiye jayenge taaki players ka decision-making aur game reading improve ho.
Program ki shuruaat U19 men’s team ke training se hogi, kyunki SLC ka major focus hai young talent ko groom karna.
Timing Ka Significance
Yeh camp ek crucial time pe ho raha hai:
- Men’s team prepare kar rahi hai upcoming Bangladesh series ke liye.
- Women’s team focus kar rahi hai 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup (India) ke liye.
Sri Lanka traditionally spin-heavy team rahi hai, lekin ab fast bowling pe kaam karna zaroori ho gaya hai. Arun jaise experienced coach ki presence se yeh gap fill ho sakta hai.
India-Sri Lanka Coaching Collab
2025 mein SLC ne pehle hi R Sridhar (ex-India fielding coach) ko 10-day fielding program ke liye bulaya tha. Usse pehle 2024 mein Zubin Bharucha (Rajasthan Royals ka high performance director) bhi batting training dene aaye the. Yeh sab dikhata hai ki SLC India ke coaching talent ko seriously value karta hai.
SLC ne pehle bhi Jonty Rhodes jaise legends ko fielding coaching ke liye engage kiya hai. Bharat Arun is ecosystem mein ek aur strong addition hain.
Bharat Arun – Coaching Journey
62 saal ke Arun ne khud bhi India ke liye 2 Tests khele hain Sri Lanka ke khilaaf (1986–87). Lekin unka asli impact coaching mein dikhayi deta hai. Unhone Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma jaise bowlers ko world-class banaya. IPL level pe bhi unka coaching record top-notch hai.
