India went first. The English won the toss.
KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal pushed their guts took the score to 94 in 30 spells.
B Sai Sudharsan did good, did better I’d say, made his first 50. The guy was in place of Karun.
I think his play shored up the Indians but Ben did his bit, and sent him home later. Like it was the third time in 3 innings. LOL.
Pant’s foot looked really bad and he had to retire-hurt himself. That put a spanner in the game for a bit.
The boys didn’t suck at all. Kept India at its toes, struck in a room, that wouldn’t let 3-runs per over average make its way out. So, like 4 wickets in 3 overs. Not overly cool, but “good-effort” display for sure.
Jamie dropped Sudharsan catch but I think he must have felt happy when he went home on 50.
So, nothing much happened. A bit of this and that, no face-paced action. Nothing exciting here to see really. We’ll see what the other days brag about.
